Help for choosing an activity, giving it a bounded period of attention, and letting that time be enough.
Time Given is built around the process rather than the outcome. It does not score completion, build streaks, or ask whether the underlying work was finished.

Select a short block that feels appropriate. A notification can let you know when it ends.
Stop, reflect, or consciously begin another block. Finishing the task is never required.
Yes. Time Given calculates the remaining time from the session’s planned end time. If notifications are allowed, your iPhone can alert you when the block ends. A Live Activity may also show the countdown on supported devices.
Open Time Given’s Settings tab and check the notification status. If access is denied, tap “Open iOS Settings” and allow notifications for Time Given. Focus modes and notification summaries can also delay how alerts appear.
Your wording remains editable, and Time Given can create a simple process-oriented version locally on your iPhone. You can also turn AI rewriting off in Settings.
Time Given AI is optional. A one-time $2.99 USD consumable purchase adds 1,000 secure AI-assisted rewrite credits. Credits do not expire, and one credit is used only after a rewrite succeeds. Timers, local wording, notifications, Live Activities, history, calendar, and reflections remain free.
Open Time Given, go to Settings, and choose AI Credits. No registration is required to buy or use a 1,000-credit pack. Purchases made while signed out belong to this device; keep access to this installation because consumable device credits cannot be restored through the App Store on another device. Optional Sign in with Apple lets you access account credits on your supported devices. Purchases made while signed in add account credits; existing device credits remain on the original device and are used first.
In Settings, choose Delete Account under Optional Account when signed in, or Delete Device Credit Data for credits belonging to this device. Review the warning and confirm deletion. The selected identity and unused credit balance are permanently removed; unused credits cannot be restored and deletion does not refund purchases. Local session history remains on your device. After deleting an Apple-linked account, you can also remove Time Given in your Apple Account’s Sign in with Apple settings.
Your session history, engagement choices, and reflections are stored locally on your device. They are not required for the AI rewrite service.
No. Time Given records the time you intentionally gave to an activity. It does not use productivity scores, streaks, or completion-pressure language.
Email us with what happened, your iPhone model, and your iOS version. Please do not include private activity or reflection text unless it is necessary to explain the issue.
