Information our apps may process
Depending on the features you choose, an app may process account identifiers, content you create, app settings, diagnostic information, purchase status, or information needed to provide synchronization and sharing. An app may also request access to device features such as photos, camera, microphone, files, calendars, contacts, location, or notifications. Access occurs only after the relevant system permission or user action.
How information is used
- Provide, maintain, synchronize, and improve requested app features.
- Save preferences and content, including offline data.
- Respond to support requests and diagnose reliability or security issues.
- Meet legal obligations and protect users, our apps, and our services.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use sensitive app content for cross-app advertising.
Storage, sharing, and service providers
Some apps store information only on your device. Others use Apple services such as iCloud or CloudKit, or another provider identified in the app. Information may be shared with a service provider only as needed to operate a feature, comply with law, prevent harm, or complete an action you request. Shared or collaborative features make selected content available to the people you choose.
Purchases and AI features
When an app offers an Apple-managed in-app purchase, Apple processes payment and provides signed transaction information needed to confirm the purchase. Time Given AI can be purchased and used without registration or sharing a name or email. A randomly generated device credit identity authenticates the device and protects its server-maintained balance; its credentials are stored securely on that device. Optional Sign in with Apple provides a separate account credit balance for supported devices. We send signed purchase transactions to AWS and associate them with the applicable credit identity to prevent duplicate redemption. When you request an AI rewrite, the wording you submit is processed through AWS services in Singapore and Amazon Bedrock. One credit is used only for a successful rewrite. Session history and reflections remain on your device.
Retention and deletion
On-device information remains until you remove it, delete the app, or use an available reset feature. In Time Given Settings, Delete Account removes the signed-in account identity and account balance; Delete Device Credit Data removes the device credit identity and its balance. The selected credentials are cleared from the device after confirmed deletion. Unused credits are permanently lost and deletion does not refund purchases. Redeemed transaction markers are retained without their account association to prevent repeat redemption, and a one-way identifier hash blocks previously issued tokens after deletion. Local session history is separate from the credit identity and remains on your device. Apple-linked users can also remove Time Given from Sign in with Apple in their Apple Account settings. You may contact us for other access or correction requests.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Our general-audience apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information without appropriate authorization.
Your choices
You can manage app permissions in iOS Settings, disable notifications, stop using cloud or sharing features where available, delete local content, or uninstall an app. Your Apple account and iCloud controls are managed through Apple.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect app, legal, or service changes. The effective date above will change when material revisions are published.
