NowPractice

A little practice. Right now. Find quick answers for reminders, practice history, custom exercises, and iPhone–Apple Watch sync.

Getting started

  1. Open NowPractice on iPhone and choose your active hours, reminder range, and exercise.
  2. Allow notifications on Apple Watch when asked.
  3. Open NowPractice on Apple Watch to review the schedule or start a practice immediately.
  4. Tap Done after a practice to add it to your history.

Reminders and privacy

Practice settings and completion history are stored locally on your devices. NowPractice uses Apple notification and WatchConnectivity services to schedule reminders and synchronize between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch.

You can disable scheduled reminders in the app or manage notification permission in Settings.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the next reminder not appearing?

Confirm reminders are enabled, your active-hours window includes the current time, and NowPractice has notification permission on Apple Watch. Open the watch app once to refresh its schedule.

Why has a change from iPhone not reached my watch?

Keep both devices nearby with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled, then open NowPractice on both devices. Use the Sync control on iPhone if the status shows a pending change.

Can I add my own practice?

Yes. On iPhone, open the exercise list, add a custom exercise, and enter a short instruction suitable for the watch screen. Custom exercises can be edited or deleted later.

Does NowPractice need an internet connection?

No. Core practice, scheduling, history, and paired-device synchronization work locally. Internet access may be needed for App Store updates or contacting support.

How do I reset notification permission?

On Apple Watch, open Settings, choose Notifications, find NowPractice, and adjust permission. You can also manage watch notification settings from the Watch app on iPhone.
